DESCRIPTION:Learn how to comfortably and competently work with those who are feeling desperate, hopeless, and thinking of suicide. Conversations with those at risk of suicide require skill and collaboration. Safety plans are critical to keeping those at risk of suicide safe in case mental health services are delayed or are not obtained. ASIST is an evidence-based 2-day intensive and interactive workshop designed to build skills in de-escalating a suicidal situation and building a safety plan. $20 plus Eventbrite fees for those work live/work outside of Jay County. Free to those living/working in Jay County. Register register by Jan 20th.\n
