SUMMARY:CAMS-4Teens
DESCRIPTION:\nCAMS-4Teens was developed to train clinicians on how to adapt and implement the CAMS Framework® and the Suicide Status Form (SSF) for youth ages 12 and older. The training also provides updated information on the nature, epidemiology, and prevention of youth suicide, including a specific focus on reducing access to lethal means and how to work within and across systems of care (hospitals, schools, justice, and outpatient settings). It is intended for a range of audiences including, psychologists, healthcare providers, supervisors, and administrators, and it is appropriate for hospital networks, state agencies, and school districts.\n\n\n\nPlease note that the training has two separate components, an online self-paced 3-hour course, as well as a 4 hour Zoom role-play training. Participants must complete both the self-paced course and the Zoom role-play training to become CAMS 4-Teens trained. Participants should already have participated in the CAMS for adults training to be eligible to complete CAMS-4 Teens.\n
